Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive music and art curriculum that aligns with the IEYC framework for Nursery to K2 classes.
- Integrate the Cambridge music curriculum into Kindergarten lessons, ensuring a seamless blend of both educational approaches.
- Create thematic units that connect art and music with other areas of learning, enhancing children’s understanding and engagement.
- Instruction:
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate music and art lessons that inspire creativity and encourage exploration.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, storytelling, movement, and interactive play to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Incorporate various art forms (visual arts, crafts, drama) and music genres (singing, rhythm activities, instrument play) into daily lessons.
- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Monitor and assess each child’s progress in music and art skills through observations and informal assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to children and share progress with parents through regular communication and parent-teacher meetings.
- Classroom Management:
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes creativity, collaboration, and respect among students.
- Establish clear expectations for behavior and manage classroom dynamics effectively.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other educators to integrate art and music across the curriculum, supporting interdisciplinary learning.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Music Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting, particularly in music and arts education.
- Strong knowledge of the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) and Cambridge music curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
