Integrated Programme

Secondary Years

For Cambodian nationals, the Secondary Years Integrated Curriculum program at SISC is aligned with the Khmer General Education (KGE) curriculum of the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport (MoEYS) of Cambodia.

This programme consists of 6 academic years from Grade 6 to Grade 12 and is divided into two levels which are Lower-Secondary (Grade 6 to Grade 8) and Upper-Secondary (Grade 9 to Grade 12). The Integrated Curriculum incorporates the Cambridge subjects in Math and Science into the Khmer General Education scheme.  Specifically, mathematics and science are taught in the English language and combine the curriculum standards of both the MoEYS Khmer Curriculum as well as the Cambridge for these subjects.  Students in the Integrated Curriculum will have the full KGE program.

For Cambodian nationals currently in grades 11 and 12, there are two academic schemes, where the students can opt to be in social science or pure science classes based on their preferences and abilities. Grade 9 and grade 12 students are entitled to sit all National Examinations as those at public schools.

The qualifications from this KGE programme are recognized by MoEYS, meaning that the holders can apply for both local and international higher education degree courses. Subject areas taught at Secondary Year Levels include Khmer Language and Literature, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Earth Science), Social Studies (History, Geography, and Moral Civics), and Information Communication Technology (ICT).
